It is accessible and controllable via a standard web browser on a PC, phone or tablet, without plug-ins. The platform is a man-machine interface optimised for hardware evaluation in the cloud. The company will also be running demonstrations of Raspberry Pi hardware and accessories and testing a prototype online hardware evaluation platform in co-operation with new company, The Marketing Works. It also adds three of the most popular requests for new features, further enhancing ease-of-use for designers: Cross Probe, Custom Shortcuts and simplified export to the recently launched DesignSpark Mechanical – another highlight of the RS Stand. The sixth edition introduces further functionality including Online Design Rule Checking (Real-Time DRC) and design support for buses. On its stand in Hall 5-451, the company will show DesignSpark Mechanical, the new 3D solid modelling and assembly tool and – centre stage – DesignSpark PCB Version 6.0. At this year’s Embedded World, RS Components will present the latest release of the schematic capture and PCB layout software.
